Unfortunately, Movember has drawn to a close. And for some, it's a relief to have hit fundraising goals and get a chance to clean that upper lip. For us, we're already amped and planning next year. From fundraising pop-ups to awareness-based classes, passionate Fillit users came up with creative uses for space (some of which we've never seen before!).

It's been a pleasure to be an official Major Partner of Movember, and we look forward to championing and raising awareness of issues affecting men's health all year long.

Huge shout out to our MoHostSpaces, whose generosity made many events possible this month. These spaces agreed to discount their spaces for Movember events, from 25% off to, in some cases, completely free.

If you missed the Movember madness, here is a quick overview of some of our favourite spaces

2 Movember Pop Ups in the South William Space

Check out the #IrishCoffeeDay pop up, in which Movember partnered with Moyee Coffee and Great Irish Beverages to serve up €5 Irish Coffees on South William street.

Earlier that month, they had completely transformed the space into a pop-up barbershop, partnering with great barbers who dedicated their time to make Movember a clean and dapper month.

The Gentlemen's Academy at Dezille Cinema

The Gentlemen's Academy rented out Denzille Cinema for a night of whisky cocktails, Mo Movies, and general tomfoolery.

Watch the evening here:

The Denzille Cinema is available for rent starting at €200/day.

Yoga at Powerscourt Theatre

When it comes to men's health, there are few advocates out there as passionate as Mr. Yoga. Michael Ryan, also known as Mr. Yoga, instructs some of Dublin's most influential and flexible people, including President Michael D. Higgins. For his contribution to Movember, Michael booked the beautiful Powers Court Theatre for a bit of zen.

Watch the yoga session here:

The Powerscourt Theatre is available for rent starting at €500/day.

Quiz Night at The Sugar Club

Geek Ireland are the kings and queens of all things pop culture, gaming and all things nerdy in Ireland. They partnered with The Sugar Club to launch an evening filled with raffles, trivia, drinks and entertainment.

Get Yourself A Big Mickey! Pop-up sausages

Supporting Movember is a passion project for Dublin Creative Agency BACKUP, and this year they decided to use their network, wit, and design eye to bring some humour and spark conversations in Temple Bar. With a couple days to plan, the gang rented a classic American hot-dog trailer, parked themselves in Temple Bar Square, and sold sausages supported and inspired by Dublin's deadliest chefs, including Currabinny, Ukiyo Bar, and Coppinger Row. With the name "Big Mickey's Pop-Up Sausages" - the group sparked headlines (LovinDublin, DublinLive, DailyEdge, Broadsheet, and more) which made selling a breeze.

"Whether you’re craving a quick banger or simply looking to spice up your lunch life, Big Mickey’s Pop-Up has the sausage you need. Come taste our delicious Mickey’s between 12pm and 4pm, today only, in Temple Bar’s Square."

Rent Temple Bar Square for as low as €500/day.

Another huge thank you, from the Fillit team!
