With festival and concert season right around the corner, we are taking a look at some of our favourite 'musical' locations if you will! From private gigs, to outdoor concerts, we have a variety of spaces to suit whatever the need!
The Tivoli Backstage is right across the street from the main entrance of the Tivoli Theatre and can cater for any type of experience due to it’s unique location and multi functional setting. From small private concerts, to parties, launches and corporate events up to 350 people, the venue is completely transformable!
This space has history. Recently renovated and relaunched, Number 22 plays homage to some of the greats to walk its stage (including U2). Number 22 is a music lover's dream. Cool, contemporary and full of energy, this venue regularly hosts some of the newest and hippest bands in town. The venue decor is made to impress and perfect for a party, with grandiose velvet curtains, ornately carved furniture, and regal stone walls.Your guests will be wow’d the moment they waltz in!
The Historic Carlisle Pier is located between two prestigious yacht clubs The National Yacht Club and the Royal St George Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire Harbour. The Pier is unique with its undisrupted views of the 200 year old Victorian harbour & East Pier. The Pier is very versatile, and has been used for funfairs, bungee jumps, concerts, festivals, and the Red Bull Flug Tag in the past. It is ideally used for small to medium corporate or commercial events. The Dun Laoghaire DART station, bus terminal and shopping district is located on Crofton road/ Marine Road 500m away. The Carlisle Pier space is broken into 2 sections.
Section 1 is an open air gated/fenced secure area with 78 vehicle parking capacity. Section 2 is an open air secure space without gates or security barriers.
The Sugar Club is made up of 3 individual spaces which can operate in different ways depending on your needs. The main room is a converted 1960’s cinema with a newly installed state of the art audio, plus a full bar making it perfect for shows and concerts. The team have a vast amount of experience and a great passion for what they do. They will work on every show/launch/event from inception to delievery to make sure you have the best experience in the venue.Apart from live concerts and club shows, the space also specialises in broadcast/recordings/live streaming, comedy shows, independent theatre, corporate events, presentations, lectures, lunches, dinners, outdoor BBQs and more.
St Michaels Pier is an impressive 16,000m2 ‘open air’ space located in the heart of Dun Laoghaire Harbour overlooking the Dun Laoghaire Marina. Located next to the DART, the enclosed nature of this cobble lock paving space makes it perfect for a large variety of events including concerts, festivals, amusements, outdoor cinemas and more. The area is securely accessible through access gates, with a dedicated emergency exit route also.
